Dr. Ulrike Schneider

Ulrike Schneider is an assistant professor of English Linguistics at the University of Mainz. She spends the summer term of 2024 as a visiting professor at the Institute for British and American Studies (Goethe University Frankfurt). She has published on usage-based cognitive linguistics, political discourse as well as language variation and change. Her current research focusses on modal negation as well as on the spread of DO-support in negative contexts.
