Adelaide Appiah Banafo

Doctoral researcher in project B03 Syntactic and morphological interactions of negation –
a cross-linguistic study 

Adelaide is a doctoral researcher in Syntax at the Goethe University Frankfurt. She is interested in the syntax of West African language especially, Ghana Togo Mountain languages and Mabia languages . She worked on Verbal Agreement patterns in Adele, a GTM language during her Master’s at the University of Ghana and currently works with Prof. Katharina Hartmann and Dr. Johannes Mursell on Negation and its interaction with tense and aspect in Mabia and Bantu languages.
