Prarthanaa Bharadwaj

Prarthanaa Bharadwaj is a doctoral researcher in Semantics at the Department of Linguistics, Goethe University Frankfurt. She earned her Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Potsdam, where she investigated necessity modal contructions in Kannada under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Malte Zimmermann. Her current research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Katharina Hartmann and Prof. Dr. Hedde Zeijlstra, focuses on the scope interactions between negation and coordination. Her primary research interests include linguistic fieldwork and formal semantics, with a particular focus on advancing the study of Dravidian languages.
